People Counters

A people counter is a device that can be used to measure the number and direction of people traversing a certain passage or entrance. Many different technologies are used in people counting devices, such as infrared beams, thermal imaging, computer vision, and WiFi counting. Currently the most accurate one are 3rd Generation People Counter Solution which combine computer vision and WiFi counting, sometime even more sensors. People counters are used in cities, retail stores, company buildings, and other facilities that need information about how many people are visiting their premises and in which intervals.
